Sucrose is manufactured by all green plants, Cane and Beet used commercially. The less refined a sugar the better the balance between nutrients (flavour) and calories becomes. Caster is a very fine grade of sugar, so-named as the grains fit through a 'caster' or sprinkler.

We have had a veg box for many years and now a salad box. Delighted with the flavour of all the vegetables. Lovely wide range of greens and, boy, sometimes the salad leaves have been hot! Reliable and pleasant delivery.
Fresh!!! You really taste the difference. Organic veg and a chance to also get local sourdough bread, honey, apples, cider vinegar, etc. Flexible ordering and very responsive farm team. The veg box is a highlight of the week!
